Show the work behind the recommendation.
A clear label is more useful than an impressive rating without an explanation.
Three distinct kinds of evidence
- Provider documentation: features and terms described by the company. These are attributed claims, not independently demonstrated performance.
- Researched comparison: our analysis of cited materials using the same questions across products.
- Hands-on test: an identified task we actually completed on a named plan, with a date, result and limitations.
The current product shortlist uses the first two categories. It does not yet contain scored hands-on reviews.
The questions we ask
What job does the product serve? Which plan includes it? What will it cost over a year? Can the user export work and cancel? Where does the product ask for personal data? Which alternatives, including free ones, should the reader consider?
Commercial independence
A commission does not buy a score or determine whether a product is included. Affiliate links are disclosed near the relevant recommendation when they are active. Sponsored placements, if introduced, will be labeled separately.
Accuracy and updates
Checked dates describe the last completed review, not an automatic promise of freshness. A changed price or disputed feature is a reason to revisit the relevant entry. Unknown information stays unknown until it can be checked.
Spiritual claims
We distinguish a tradition's interpretation from demonstrated product behavior. We do not present a chart as a diagnosis or a reliable instruction for health, finances or important life decisions. Reader choice and ordinary judgment remain central.
